Websites and getting online for Aussie small businesses

Get found.
Get booked.

A website that brings in enquiries, a Google profile locals can find, and online booking that works while you're on the job.

For Australian small businesses with little to no online presence: no website, just a Facebook or Google profile, or a site that never brings in work.

Where are you now?

Wherever you're starting from.

Find your stage: it tells you what you'd most likely get first.

  1. Stage A:

    Nothing online yet

Word of mouth has carried you so far. Search for your business and nothing comes up.

    What you'd get first

    • A simple website that explains what you do and how to book
    • A Google Business Profile so you show up on Maps
    • A business email and enquiries that reach your phone
That's me: book a free call
  2. Stage B:

A Facebook or Google profile, no website

People can find you, sort of, but there's nowhere to see your work or book.

    What you'd get first

    • A website that turns those visitors into enquiries
    • Your Google profile filled out and linked up properly
    • Online booking, so people can lock in a time without ringing
That's me: book a free call
  3. Stage C:

A website, but it doesn't bring in work

You've got a site. Nobody seems to find it, and hardly anyone enquires.

    What you'd get first

    • Clear pages and calls to action that turn visits into enquiries
    • Online booking and enquiry follow-up
    • Blog and SEO foundations so Google understands what you do
That's me: book a free call

Not sure which one fits? That's what the free call is for.

Sound familiar?

  • Word of mouth only. Great while it lasts. Hard to grow on.

  • Someone searches for you. They find a competitor instead.

  • A Facebook page. No way to book, and messages get missed.

  • A website from years ago. Nobody has ever enquired through it.

  • You should be on Google. No time to work out how.

You don't need to become a tech person. You run the business; the online side gets set up properly for you.

What you get

Found, trusted, booked.

  • A website that gets you enquiries

Clear, fast, built for phones, with a big obvious way to get in touch.

  • Found on Google

A Google Business Profile set up properly, so you show up on Maps and local searches.

  • Online booking

Customers pick a time and get a confirmation. You get the details. No phone tag.

  • Every enquiry followed up

Enquiries land in one place and get a reply straight away.

  • Blog and SEO foundations

The basics Google looks for, plus an easy way to add articles that answer customers.

  • Ready for ads when you are

Once the basics turn visitors into bookings, ads can bring in more of the right people.

Plain English start to finish. Nothing goes live without your OK.

Fair questions.

SkyTech Labs is a new business, so you won't find a wall of testimonials here, and none will be made up. You'll get a straight answer instead.

What does it cost?

The discovery call is free. Every business starts from a different place, so after the call you get a clear written scope and price before any work starts, and you decide. No surprises.

I already have a Facebook page. Do I need a website?

Not always, and you'll get a straight answer on the call. A Facebook page is a good start, but it doesn't show up well in Google searches, it can't take proper bookings, and you don't control it. For most local businesses a simple website plus a well set-up Google Business Profile is what turns searches into enquiries.

I already have a website. Can you work with it?

Yes. Often the site itself is fine and what's missing is the rest: a Google profile, online booking, enquiry follow-up or the basics of SEO. If the site is worth keeping, the work starts there instead of from scratch.

How long does it take?

It depends on where you're starting and what you need. You'll get the timing in your written plan before any work starts, so you know what to expect.

I'm not a tech person. Is that a problem?

Not at all. You know your business and your customers; the tech side is handled for you, in plain English. You'll never be asked to set anything up yourself.

Do you run ads as well?

Setting up ads is part of what's on offer, once the basics are ready to turn clicks into enquiries. Paying for ads that land on a page that can't take a booking usually wastes money, so the order matters.

Can I add AI automation later?

Yes. Once the website, Google profile and booking are working, the same person can add AI automation: missed calls answered, quotes followed up, reminders and invoices handled.

Is my customers' data safe?

Only the access a job needs is requested, nothing goes live without your OK, and personal information is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. See the Privacy Policy.
